Water Ching一天比一天精明及懂事，她了解的比能說的更多。而且她知道她周遭的每一件事物都會有個名字，當我們指住某一個她熟悉的物件並說出它們的名字，都會滿足她的好奇心,如「ball」、「birdie」、「巴士」。她也開始學習指出身體的某個部位，例如「ear」。很抽像的例如open和close，她大致上都能領會。我相信她會記得這些字詞以備日後使用。她還會在家發表隨心所欲的演講，聽到她使用很多意想不到的聲音和字。
